Agreed. The rest of the U.S. needs to know too, because a false alarm like that could trigger a nuclear response and that would be deadly and horrifying on a massive scale.
-
Considering the order to use nukes comes from the president this won’t happen. He doesnt decide to attack on a alert from a state agency. He relies on the military that actually monitor this stuff to warn him of imminent threat.

Certainly steps need to be taken to prevent it from happening again and to provide transparent answers on why it happened. It was clearly a mistake. Let’s hope we can ‘hold accountable’ persons without ruining their lives. Our society has become way too focused on punishment.
-
Yeah. Nobody’s perfect. The people responsible feel bad enough already, & an outside investigation is underway. Policy changes have been implemented. They were taking affirmative steps to protect us (more than any other state) but screwed up. Let’s learn from this and forgive.

This tweet, about an incident now almost 2 weeks old, comes a day after Tulsi endorses Hanabusa for Gov. Proving, once again, that she isn't a saintly do-gooder but, rather, just another political hack.

I read that the person responsible did not lose their job, but was transferred. Now they have a two person system implemented. Basic safeguards.
