Drug company collusion would certainly explain why the cash price for insulin in the US is SIX TIMES the cash price in Mexico. This situation may be acceptable (though inconvenient) for those near the border; elsewhere, especially for the uninsured, it's a matter of life or death
Azar's tenure led to the current, ongoing investigation into whether Eli Lilly colluded with other drug companies to needlessly raise the price of insulin.
