Failed negotiations, unrealistic preconditions, as well as the long-held U.S. foreign policy of regime change has led North Korea to develop and tighten their grip on nuclear weapons because they see that as the only deterrent to the U.S. leading an effort to topple their regime.

Sure Tulsi, its all our fault. We're responsible for that brutal regime, starving their own people, and standing at odds for decades with the civilized world. Say again how you got elected to Congress?

Maybe killing 20% of their population in a brutal war and a proven decades long policy of imperialism and destruction of states not conducive to the interests of our ruling class has something to do with it? Don’t be naïve and brainless.

It's also contributed to DPRK's authoritarianism, such as it is. The United States threw civil rights out the window following a single act of terrorism, yet we judge DPRK for their authoritarianism after we killed 2-3 million ppl and threatened nuclear annihilation for 60+ years

U.S. has a long history of supporting/funding right-wing death squads and destabilizing countries. The people of North Korea need freedom and liberty, but it can’t be delivered by an untrustworthy state commandeered by billionaires with alterior motives

Your lack of historical perspective is breathtaking but, unfortunately, tragically typical of a generation immersed in the delusion that the universe began and ends with their pathetic lives.

First, research how long NK has been developing a nuclear capability. Then get back to me. Yours is a flawed argument. Kim is pursuing a Nuclear Ballistic Missile capable of striking the U.S. because he fears a Us Nuclear Strike on NK? That is naive or uninformed, my friend.
