I am not satisfied with how people have been held accountable. I’m looking forward to a full investigation to see all the layers of what went wrong from the person who pushed the wrong button to everything that resulted in such a delayed correction going to the people of Hawaiʻi.

While I agree nukes must never be used in warfare, consider that the potential beneficial uses for them. Even though 'Armageddon' was just a dumb, Hollywood movie, its scenario is not that far-fetched.

Seems the governor doesn't want consequences for any of them, including himself. Mistakes can happen, but these guys are in charge of EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT. How would they perform in an actual emergency?

Apparently that person has been reassigned. I hope they learned their lesson. But I don't think that person needs his life ruined necessarily? Especially if it's a simple push of a button or click of a mouse. God bless you soon to be President Gabbard!

At the same time, I feel for the guy or gal who clicked on the wrong thing. How many times have I tried to click, only to have the page shift, and I ended up clicking something else? "Undo" is my favorite command—to not have that available is a design problem:

Don’t leave the burden of emergency alerts to one person with one button. **** And also, develop a quick access button for override. FIX the problem, and move on. Stop focussing on reprimandinding, for a faulty system.
