Would be best if we could enact policy that benefits ALL business and makes it globally competitive (e.g., lower corp. tax rates) and take the crony capitalism out of both sustainable energy and fossil fuels

E vehicles are a scam. I can drive my Silverado with a V8 for 8 years with fewer carbon emissions than it takes to produce the batteries of a Tesla. Money grab for elites supported by corrupt politicians.

All automotive manufacturing is subsisted by government all around the world! Germany is up to 70% per vehicle even through Asia aswell.
