I understand the petrodollar. The world is moving toward renewables. US gov actions are scaring the world 2 want a different fiat currency. We should be showing that the US is a stable positive force in the world and the world can trust the US and it’s dollar as fiat. We aren’t.

Plenty costs are already being passed on-like medical bills related to pollution. And the cost to taxpayers of disaster relief and government backed flood insurance.
