Is there such a thing as 100% clean energy? I get the concept, and applaud the ambition. But forcing solar/wind down a nation's throat might hinder innovation for something better.

Needs to be a free market solution not forced by the government at the point of a gun.
Must be some major advancements in energy storage technology that I'm unaware of. Renewables are great but without adequate storage we can't get off fossil fuels. Renewables other than hydro and geothermal are unstable energy producers and have to be stabilized by fossil fuels
