No. People who have pregnancies with severe fetal abnormalities need access in the 3rd trimester as well.

Yeah. That’s what she meant by the severe consequences term

If the Dems seriously expect to take 2020, they need to pick a more moderate candidate like
@TulsiGabbard. Our nation needs to stop the enormous divide that exists. -
God amen brother!

Unfortunately, in this country right now, you have to win the Dem. nom. or the Rep. nom. to have a chance. Tulsi is so unifying and down the middle IDK of she can win a Dem. or Rep. nomination.
-
I feel like -from an outsider non-citizen point of view- she could win a Rep nomination. I haven't seen any decent, well tempered Republican (so not the extreme type) being a vigorous critic of her.

What makes the life of a 1st and 2nd trimester human being less important?
-
Nothing. But this is a compromise to ensure that some are protected now, instead of just making it all or nothing so that none are protected. That's leadership, and a step in the right direction for all sides.

As much as I can agree with this stance I imagine this is going to hurt her given how strongly a good portion of the left feels that they should be able to abort whenever they want despite it being a very moderate position that people to the right can actually side with.
-
I think most Americans agree with this position. But they're the quiet ones. Even most of the rabid loudmouths, will when pressed, admit they don't actually want much more than RvW. I think it's the ideology trap: they have to prove commitment they don't believe in.

The supreme court figured all this out in the 1970s why is everyone so upset?
-
Wedge issues are utilized by pathological people in positions of power to create subgroups that they can then pit against one another. Machiavelli figured this out in the 1500s and it still works on educated Americans in the 21st century.

You didn’t address the post-birth abortions. Was that a step too far that would look a bit too obvious?
-
No such thing exists.

Tulsi I am amazed at your poise and grace at these times of crassness and brashness.

She is the class act of the Dem candidates, fwiw
