It becomes an important issue when it's someone's medicine. Not just recreation.

I've been teaching meditation in King County Jail. Once Washington State passed the law decriminalizing Marijuana, the jail population dropped dramatically. Imagine the billions of $s spent on this "war." It makes no sense for this prohibition to continue at the Federal level.

Far more people die each year from alcohol related deaths than from opioids, but sure, let’s go after the makers of drugs that also help millions of Americans fight chronic pain and enable them to function.

She doesn’t want them to stop making opioids. She wants to legalize marijuana.

Good for the economy too, more money spent on food munchies & entertainment

The opioid addiction aused by bug pharma has consequences that I never see people talk about I am a severe pain sufferer and have problems getting the medication I was stable on for decades because of what Purdue did. We are the unseen victims of the opioid crisis.

Imagine if cannabis was legal, you may not need opiods anymore, or a much lower amount.
