This is a dark day in America. Less than 24 hours ago, it was El Paso. Today, Dayton. Tomorrow? These lives lost are an immediate and tragic consequence of racism and bigotry being used to divide us. Enough. We are one nation. We must stand together and end this madness.

Do you intend to look at broader systemic issues that may contribute to these acts of violences? Such as mental healthcare, mis-management of the NICS system and other issues, the war on drugs, drug abuse, domestic abuse, and more?

7 people were shot at in a park in Chicago and 12 people (1 killed) shot in a park in Brownsville, Brooklyn, ' These were immediately glossed over because they were in Black towns and the general unspoken opinion from the corporate news is that it's expected

The main reason people have access to guns in Chicago is because Indiana has such lax gun laws. We could solve that type of gun violence by addressing mass shootings.

Start by ending the "War on Drugs" to reduce violence caused by gangs and justice system. Then end "certificate of need" requirements to open mental and physical healthcare facilities

Chalking it all up to racism and bigotry does the country a disservice (do we even know the Dayton shooter's intent?). The real problem is mental health and social isolation. We will never solve anything unless we are clear on the terms.
