NO. Reasonable criticism can be aimed at anyone, but this is NOT the character of #TulsiGabbard, and nothing you could say could convince me of it. She is fair. She is compassionate. But NO ONE tells her what to think, do or support. EVER. She has a completely independent mind.
The TMT will watch the skies for near-earth object asteroids that could end Humanity, and in exchange, several other telescopes will be dismantled. The ancient Hawaiians navigated by the Stars. What's wrong with looking at them respectfully?

These issues have been repeatedly addressed both through Herculean efforts at negotiation & a thorough legal process. It is past time to recognize that the scientific value to humanity of the #TMT overshadows a tiny vocal grp of Hawaiian activists who refuse to accept a decision
