Just letting everyone know, Tulsi is and has always been for Medicare for all since she first came into congressional office. One of the few who can say this. This was an honest rhetorical mistake and they informed me they are fixing it to be more clear

It wasn’t her specifically who wrote the tweet which is why it reads different Tulsi’s usual stumping speech regarding Medicare for all. But make no mistake, anyone who’s heard Tulsi speak knows there is no middle ground for tulsi when it comes to M4All

So sad, Donna. Thank you for sharing. My oldest friend’s daughter had leukemia at age 7 and he had to argue with United Healthcare over whether her condition qualified for treatment. This has to stop.

M4A is affordable healthcare for ALL just different ways of saying it. I am sorry. It’s not free. It’s affordable because it cuts out the middle man. The importance of M4A is that it covers EVERYONE!

Our health is not a commodity to be bought & sold as “Affordable.” 40% of Americans have $400 or less in savings. Average health plan deductible is $1400. What happens in an emergency? High co-pays prevent care. Let’s guaranteed healthcare with no barriers to care #MedicareForAll

@salimmadjd @CullenYossarian I'd suggest scratching the "affordable" word out of messaging if Tulsi is still for full-bore #MedicareForAll (last I heard this remains the case, as it should be) . "Affordable" seems safe, but is incredibly subjective, as Lighty's numbers call out.

We need options for holistic healing. Big Pharma doesn't focus on cures as much as making ppl longtime customers. Stop the kickbacks from Big Pharma to politicians. The fact that Bayer was allowed to buy Monsanto after Trump was elected shows just how corrupt our Gov't really is.

Tulsi, I support you, but using the words "Affordable Healthcare" is not equivalent to Medicare For All. I hope you still support #M4A #MedicareForAll. I still assume you do, but please avoid saying "Affordable Healthcare."
