This is NOT to disrespect people who do say the pledge of allegiance I just think that too much patriotism causes people to not acknowledge the issues and reality going on with their own country. We are told at a young age America is perfect but when we get older we see it isn't.

Disagree. I did all of these things, and I vehemently oppose nationalist fervor. This narrow thinking is much like the brainwashing that occurs in fundamentalist Christian churches.
