I think Tulsi is aware of the threat posed by automation. Tulsi is looking at the here and now though too. The fact that we have full-time workers making poverty wages needs to be addressed now. Automation is here, but so is wage inequity.

By the time the min wage is raised to $15/hr it will need to be raised to $21/hr. This is taking too long and moving too slow.

I’m sorry but I earned $15 as a manager of a major retail chain. Brainless burger-flipping does not deserve $15/hour.

Don't think so much the job itself as it's added value. That burger flipping is what enables the company to be worth billions. The same reason why I think inside a company that can afford it, you were underpaid.
