Most Americans I've met don't do Categorical Imperative Ethics. They do pragmatic ethics - 'it's not wrong if I truly believe it's OK, or if the outcome ends up being OK despite the cost to others.' War on Iran is straight wrong - not bc it will turn out bad and USA may lose.
