Thank you. It's a shame how immigrants are being treated in this country. Donald Trump and his allies have made "immigrant" into a bad word. They have to be challenged on this issue.

Call me crazy, but I'm pretty sure Trump goes out of his way to say *illegal* immigrants. There's a difference between a person who applies for a visa/immigration/asylum and waits for approval, and a person who risks their and their families lives sneaking across the border[c]

Agreed, Read this > The US Ruined Their Countries, Now Trump Calls Them “Animals” and Sends Them Back Unmentioned in America’s immigration debate is the role that both Democratic and Republican administrations have played...https://www.mintpressnews.com/central-american-migrants-denied-asylum-and-incarcerated-in-the-us-the-nation-that-ruined-their-nations/244643/ …

First off, Trump called members of the MS-13 gangs “animals.” Second, this article you linked specifically blames Obama and Hillary Clinton for the problems in Honduras but you blame Trump for abiding by US laws? Seems to me Trump is trying to clean up their mess.

Other than Tulsi, how many candidates are mentioning that the US creates the immigrant crises, causing them to flee their homes in dangerous journeys to the US.

Bernie has talked about that.

Should we have caps on the number of immigrants we accept annually?
-
she's saying we should stop interfering in these countries, decimating their economies with our sanctions and interventionist policies that ultimately creates these situations where people have to flee.

"targeted aid to address the decades of US intervention that contributed to the collapse of the countries they are fleeing" .. exactly. What Obama & Hilary did in Honduras was despicable, on top of what previous administrations had done in Guatemala & El Salvador.

We need to ship asylum seekers at the border to Hawaii so we know where they are when it's time for their court dates.

*Applause* for being the 1st ever politician in the Western world to admit the involvement of one's country for decades which is causing people to flee their nations.
-
Most politicians simply point their finger at the opposition's cruelty towards refugees & stop with that. I find them & their rhetorics shallow because they never really speak the truth, never take any accountability & most importantly, don't intend to stop ruining other countries

I just do not understand how the middle class of America can demonize unemployed workers. Soon, many more will be clamoring for a job. People, our government is lying about the unemployment rate. The numbers are skewed. I believe Tulsi will address the facts if elected.pic.twitter.com/jtJTNJnAK9

i was mostly unaware of her platform until now, just looked at her website and i am extremely impressed. she is an environmentalist and will surely support the new green deal and create a path for AOC to succeed her as president,

our governments malice and disregard for the treatment of these people just disgusts me and it embarrasses me for the United States.

Open the border? You ready to double the population? Expect Chinese, Indian, Bangladesh, to start pouring in. People from poor countries would love to work for minimum wage.
