Of all the use cases for
#blockchain this is the most obvious and important implementation of all. A voter needs to be able to confirm their anonymous vote in a public database and the tally of votes needs to come from that public database. PERIOD. END OF STORY.#elections#HAVA -
Wouldn’t it be pretty simple? Each vote is confirmed with a hash# and everyone can trace their own vote in the system. I guess that still leaves the option for fraudulent over votes but it’s a start.

You are correct, they cannot be Hacked from the OUTSIDE. All voting equipment needs to be Open Source and Available to Audit by Public Researchers.
