My father helped train troops that went to Viet Nam, On Aug 8 1992 his 50th birthday while sitting in his parents driveway..he put a bullet in his own head, his mother was the 1 that found him. Drs said he suffered from GUILT.

Viet-Nam era veterans faced nothing but angry citizens when they came home---most were drafted into the war---their heroism was never recognized. Quite a change from today were everything military is praised.

Because of the very bad treatment they received coming home, I credit them for the better, but can always be improved on, treatment veterans get now, today, which is far better than the 'spit in their faces' they got back then.
