My son has
#t1d, so one major qualm my family has with pharma is the insane increase in cost of insulin. Without it, he will die. Pharma cannot keep getting away with unnecessary price increases esp for life sustaining drugs just bc they're greedy. -
I spent a whole year without insurance for my Type 1 daughter. There is no feeling in the world knowing that death was the result of waiting one or two extra days for a paycheck in order to purchase supplies - and hope they can be filled/delivered in time. THE SYSTEM MUST CHANGE

Opioids have caused incalculable damage to our country. We need a comprehensive plan to address this problem, and that includes tort reform to allow accountability for the pharmaceutical industry. In addition we need for providers to rethink how we treat pain.
