(1 of 2) The terrorist who carried out the atrocities in New Zealand had a clear and sickening motive - to magnify hate and start a civil war in the US. He designed his attack to drive a wedge along lines of race, religion and partisanship among the American people.

(2 of 2) We cannot let him win. We must stand united in a condemnation of white nationalism & all ideologies of violent exclusivism. We must stop “otherizing” people because they may be of a different race, religion, ethnicity, etc. #NewZealandShooting

With the control of media and propaganda, the agenda of “Divide and Conquer” is easily accomplished. It renders the masses bickering between themselves, and when that is the case, the masses are posing no risk to the ruling elite.

@jimmydore Well, agreed. But... there is a tribe in American terrorizing the rest of the population. They hate to be called out & passed a resolution to make it illegal to talk about their actions. So, while I'm not for hate of people. The right to self defense matters.

The media and random blue check marks have already let him win by driving the divide and pointing to blame at everything and anything else they don't like other than the shooter himself.

More importantly, we have to start *listening* to each other and accept that we can have differing opinions and agree to disagree without being enemies. More dialogue, more listening, less shutting down speech and the open exchange of ideas/opinions.

It is wise and imperative to add "all ideologies of violent exclusivism". One could call out those other ideologies by name, but the only "safe" one to mention by name is "white nationalism".

To be honest i don't have a problem with "nationalism" which has become a "bad" it's when one puts a colour on front of it that it becomes a problem. To me "nationalism" is looking after one's country's interest which all leaders should be doing right?
