I'm tired of this childish notion that whenever the US govt starts a foreign conflict, or intervenes in a conflict, it's always done with good intentions. Americans need to wake up & realize that the govt often has nefarious motives that routinely involve stealing resources.
In order to be a force for good, we must actually DO good.
