I worked my way through 3 degrees at state universities and did not have any financial support until I received a fellowship during part of my grad studies, so I am especially furious to read this. An ordinary person's chances of getting into these "prestigious" schools is zero.

Lol does getting into an Ivy League school REALLY matter? If you can’t cut it in the real world no one cares where you got your diploma from. I know sh*tloads of self taught developers and plenty of millionaires that quit college.
