Wikileaks is functionally an arm of Russian intelligence.
-
Assuming what you say is true, at least they are pointing out the crimes committed by the government and the sociopaths corrupt leaders.

This is a fair point. At the same time, if we can't distinguish between "journalism"--speaking truth to power & lighting up dark backrooms from what Wikileaks did--deliberately steal and leak information *for the purpose* of undermining trust in our democracy, then we are lost.

Are you saying there should be no oversight on what qualifies as a news organization?
-
If there were oversight, it would be contradictory to "freedom of the press".

I like the way conservatives refer to the 4th amendment as a technicality when evidence is thrown out because it was obtained without a warrant. “He got off on a technicality!”

What if they have been working with a hostile intelligence agency to attack America?
-
It's not America, right or wrong. If US agents have committed war crimes or crimes against humanity, committed crimes or help to commit crimes, then they need to be prosecuted. You can't claim you stand for human rights and rule of law, if you are actually violating them.
