This has NOT yet been achieved, the agreement hasnt even been approved by the teachers, who are voting today. Also, the 11% raise still leaves them the lowest paid teachers in the Bay Area, not “fair wages.” Many/most still wont be able to afford to live in

Smaller class size means more attention can be spent on the students who need the extra help plus its beneficial to the students. Why do you think class size is something college students look at when applying to a school?

Liking this aspect of your strategy. Plenty of teachers with grudges against the administrators, a verdant source of support for someone like you who cares deeply about them (and improving education in general). Also the "peace dividend" is a great idea, need to TM the term!

I used to wholehearted agree with this statement, 20 years ago. Unfortunately, teachers are the main culprits in the dumbing down of society. They no longer stand up for what’s right. They only stand up for money money & less responsibilities! Truly sad world we live in today
