Scientific consensus doesn’t get much stronger than this. We need to be focused on solutions. We can’t argue with nature. The ocean is not waiting for us to agree before it starts to rise. #ClimateJusticehttps://twitter.com/USATODAY/status/1100727948984897536 …

With only a one-in-a-million chance that humans aren't the cause of global warming, it's obvious that we need to dramatically reduce our emissions of carbon dioxide, experts say. https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation/2019/02/26/global-warming-99-9999-percent-chance-humans-cause/2994043002/ …

We are A source, not THE source. Please understand the process of interglacial periods then glacial, or 'ice age' periods. The current interglacial we are in began early due to an event roughly 12,800 years ago. That means this interglacial is destined to last longer than normal

This means we can't accurately compare this period with previous interglacial periods via deep drill sheet ice studies etc. We just do not know to what level we are adding to warming. It could be nondescript or big. We can't let this become a political toy.

Ignorance about manufactured or even self organized but false “consensus” is a problem. We should be cautious, but that means cautious about radical legislation too.

How do we stop Lower Asia from dumping insane amounts of plastics into the ocean as well as radiation leaks from Fukushima? What about their pollution emissions which is far greater then ours. #Gabbard2020

He is 100% right & GND is a crazy mess that is outrageously expensive, divisive and adds in all of this identity politics. No air travel - I'm sure politicians & the elite would still fly so you're creating strong class barriers. (If you can hear me from the "cheap seats".)

Few doubt that humans contribute to the change in climate. Where we differ is to the extent of the contribution, how much the USA can really do to combat it, and what the result will be if not combated and over what kind of timeline.

It started rising nearly 10,000 years ago. You are correct, nature didn't wait. Mitigation/adaptation is a prudent move but assuming humans can do anything about sea level rise makes the "consensus" sound a bit narcissistic. https://www.iceagenow.info/wp-content/uploads/2015/11/Holocene_Sea_Level.png …

Don’t fall for their click-bait Tulsi. Humans contibute to climate change yes, but at a much smalller level than most of the known factors. Everything we can do to reduce that impact is even more devastating to humanity, and will de-green the planet.

We need a societal change. We have to start with an Anti-War Platform since these illegal wars have been over Oil. To enable war journalists have been manufacturing consent. We should have a War Crimes Tribunal along with a bench for journalists. They owe an apology to deniers

The source data for this report needs to be examined and also see who funded it. That aside, the absolute worst thing we could do is give the government money to solve this. As evidenced by everything govt 'fixes', it makes worse than before and cost goes up exponentially.

Agreed but it seems to be a waste of time trying to convince anyone. Common sense should tell anyone that there is no way CO2 can control the climate because it is only 0.04% of the atmosphere. If the US stops all CO2, China and India will continue to ensure "climate change".

Right! @repAOC is doing a multi-state tour to push that #GreenNewDisaster and no doubt travelling in a fancy government plane to do so. The rich and politicians will still be using planes but normal people will be stuck in our locations and that is scary and ominous.
