When 3 people have more $$ than 160 million Americans, it’s a sign that we’re living under crony capitalism - opportunity stagnates, inequality becomes entrenched and the American people lose.https://tulsi.to/2Tiir6K

Their wealth is added up AFTER they pay salaries of the thousands of people they employ. Not to mention the billons towards research and donations. You want the government to spend their earned money?? You’re beginning to lose my interest

Even one of those 3 men (Gates) admits that nobody *earns* that much money. At a certain point, the money starts making itself. And in general I have no idea how you could genuinely think that these guys work more than 300000 times harder than the average American each year

I like you, but picking on Bill Gates and Warren Buffet isn't a winning move. They give a TON of money to charity. Gates and his wife have promised most of their fortune to charities.

I think Gates and Buffet are literally giving 97-98% of their wealth away.

Nobody is claiming this. Capitalism is (arguably) collapsing cuz the $ is being siphoned to the top, where it's being hoarded, not invested in new businesses/hiring workers. There is no demand due to the extreme inequality (>1/2 the U.S. public unable to afford a $1K emergency).

Tax billionaires out of existence! Nobody EARNS that much wealth. Nobody NEEDS that much wealth. And they use their wealth to buy elections, control govt, and rig the economy in their favor so they can amass even more wealth.

That statement is painted with such a broad brush. I've never worked for Microsoft but because of what Bill Gates started I'm able to provide for my family supporting applications that run on those products. The American people have lost because of Bill Gates? Quite the opposite.

Its not about deamonising those at the top who have got there by legal and ethical means but rather how we can elevate those at the bottom ! If you build a product the world uses , you’re bound to end up rich . What’s crony about it ?

I do not begrudge Bezos, Buffett, and Gates; they built their companies and wealth out of nothing. And both Buffett and Gates are big philanthropist giving away millions to help other people around the world (I don't know about Bezos). So please stop with the class warfare!

Bezos and Gates built their businesses on government platforms; the internet, the Postal service and capital markets which require tons of regulation and must be built by the government. Pools of wealth that big are actually not great for the economy, either.
