We need to do the same thing for getting all the Presidential candidates into the "debates". Rather than the current CLOSED to all but R's and D's private debate being shilled as a real debate. More voices, more Choices!

The main reason people don’t go out and vote is because they are either tied up with work or school and don’t have the time .

Oregon also has mail-in only voting. I can't imagine having to take time off of work/find babysitters/etc. to drive somewhere to vote. We get our ballot in the mail 2 weeks before deadline, research at home, fill out the ballot, and mail it in. Awesome

Choosing not to vote is a vote, people don't feel represented so they exit the system entirely, automatic registration is a way for the two party system to continue it's control and it perpetuates the idea there is no other option.

We need rank choice, direct elect voting on paper ballots. Parties controlling who we can vote for is unconstitutional & undemocratic. No private entity should be allowed to infringe on voting rights thru counting 1 delage as 10k voters.

Bc half our electorate is alienated & disenfranchise from voting in primaries or getting their candidates a fair shake in the general election. Those voters coming out add diversity of thought & a counterpoint to the major parties. Media is what makes ppl vote stupidly
