If he is guilty, Jussie needs to not only apologize to the American people, he needs to be prosecuted to the full extent of the law to send a strong message to any potential future "hoaxers."

Media is covering this Smollet case as if it's OJ murder investigation.
-
That's your controlled media, again turning the gaze of the people away from the atrocities steamrolled by the global Trump agenda.

Two things: 1) Media personalities need to stop jumping to conclusion until all facts are out. 2) The public need to treat all of them with skepticism regardless of political leaning. Skeptic of Fox? Apply that to CNN, and vice versa.
-
I'm extremely sceptical of all MSM and doubly so of Murdoch merde. About 1/2 SM too

Democratic Party, DNC is still a corrupt vipers nest, incapable of reforming itself, still trading on institutional lies like
#Russiagate, and race hustling, ID Politics, to the point of nausea for Americans. If you don't clean house, your chances are grim. Or switch parties. -
I agree, and all the more a need for viable third and fourth parties.

Unfortunately, it goes much deeper than that - to the heart of the Democrat Party establishment -
#KamalaHarris +#CoryBooker used the#JussieSmollette hoax to ram through their "anti lynching" bill 2 weeks ago. Tammany Hall on steroids...pic.twitter.com/zIB2eKwXna

Oh no anti lynching legislation? The horror! How will we ever lynch our minorities now?

This is a bad take. Racists don’t care if attacks are credible. People who silence victims of sexual violence don’t care about truth or justice... they will continue to not believe... meanwhile, America is quick to lock-up Black ppl, but Banksters & Pharma dealers do NO time

As soon as the criminal has more money than the penitentiary system, they're safe. It's all about money.

Do cops who lie in official reports discredit other cops?
-
Yes. That's why a lot of people don't trust cops.

Nonsense. Women, blacks, and gays have been victimized and disbelieved forever, regardless of the fact that we know the vast number of accusations are true. Smollett won't change that one bit (but he'll undoubtedly be blamed for it). ->

I am more concerned about the police officers who covered up the murder of Laquan McDonald. Police misconduct is so pervasive; it's an epidemic. They got off!https://chicago.cbslocal.com/2019/01/17/laquan-mcdonald-coverup-verdict-police-officers-acquitted-thomas-gaffney-joseph-walsh-david-march-jason-van-dyke/ …

I disagree. I think those that r guilty will b brought 2 justice. The main lesson that could b learned as a population is not jump to conclusions until facts are gathered. 2 many, left & right, want 2 call the other wrong. Let’s all cool down & let justice play out
@TPeterson89ag -
Pipe dream. The media will never take a breath and wait. Well, unless it is Hillary Clinton. But I agree with you.

Women have been disbelieved when they are victimized since the beginning of time. As have Blacks and Gays. Smollett may be a greedy opportunist, but he is not the cause of victim doubting and he should not become the excuse.
-
He tried taking advantage because its more popular to be a victim to get what you want

Unscrupulous people use victimhood to game the system.
