These are good steps. Key is to grab funds oligarchy wants. War is funding their military industrial complex. Progressive tax from pre-Regan days is also good. Also, stopping fossil fuel subsidies.

Ending unsustainable/unethical/costly wars is ONE way to help pay for domestic programs. Taxing the ultra rich is ALSO something progressive candidate can win the popular vote on.. Also keep in mind that a planet that is alive/healthy saves on PREVENTABLE diseases/starvation.
