People who oppose paying someone a minimum of 15.00 per hour must have no clue what the cost of living are and have no compassion for all the people with families not kids working these jobs.

Businesses are trying to replace people with machines already. It makes ni difference to the business if its 7.25 or 15. It's not the workers askimg for money that creates that possibility. It's just how modern predatory capitalism works.

By these comments you can see Illinois has a ways to go educating neighbors that higher wages means buying power and cheaper costs as we lessen the need for expensive SNAP benefits. Corporate welfare must end for Illinois’ prosperity. Way to go
