Do you have any idea how much damage the US government has done to that region over the last 50 years? Simply stopping the violent interventionism & economic bullying inherent to our typical foreign policy would do wonders in and of itself.

Intervening in Venezuela will end up as a disaster. If the US cared so much about human rights, we wouldn’t be selling arms to Saudi Arabia as they bomb schools, and hospitals in Yemen, and kill journalists for political dissent. We do not have good intentions in the slightest.
