Illness and medical bills contributed to over 66% of bankruptcies between 2013 and 2016. More than half a million families file bankruptcies each year that are linked to medical issues. We need #MedicareForAll to prevent these tragedies.https://bit.ly/2teE8Gc

Payroll tax that ends up being much less for anyone who makes less than 250k or so. For rich folks the cost for their health care is going to go up.

Yes Join the rest of the civilized world. With US buying power you should have the cheapest most effective healthcare rather than the most expensive least effective healthcare. Say no to greedy pharma.

In Germany we have a form of #MedicareForAll, and other European countries have it too. It works and keeps the prices low. And with all the citizens the US has the individual contribution will be lower as well. The only loser will be big pharma.

Germany makes you get insurance from an employer or the market, like the ACA. They just did a better job of implementing it. I suspect the Dems sabotaged the ACA on purpose. So the could claim private insurance doesn't work and nationalize insurance.

Or, perhaps we could: Stop frivolous law suits? Stop paying for illegal alien health care? Stop subsidizing insurance companies ? Negotiate better drug prices?

No, the opposite. The reimbursable rates for Medicare are quite a bit lower than for private. Private insurers have no interest in seeing costs go down.

Imagine living in a a country where people’s life and wellbeing is respected! The cost of health insuance and medications is out of control. Politicians are compromised. Other countries don’t allow this kind of abuse and have far cheaper services and medications.

Ma'am, I honestly think we can't get anywhere near socialized medicine until we promote a healthy culture in the US. France (for example) can execute it because their obesity rates are half of ours.

Great point. Over 50% of Americans eat fast food at least once every 24 hours. A big problem is that the food pyramid was a lie and people were following it.
