It costs $ to get an ID. My official birth cert with raised seal was $35 + postage & copying other documents to have it sent back. That doesn't include the fee for the ID itself. Other people were born at home and there is no official record. Just "get an ID" is over simplified.

we have to move to hand counted paper ballots with a traceable 'receipt'. we have it in CA. plus early voting and mail-in voting. machines are avenues to fraud. you'd think with all of the howling about meddling that SOMEBODY would have mentioned easily hackable voting machines.

The entire state is not the same, 2016, all votes were NOT counted. In my county we have a paper ballot that is scanned, it's not clear what happens after for voters. Many don't show up on rosters due to DMV? registrations? It's a mess and the state is not at all a model.

Agree, & illegals voting is also a huge problem in this country. I'm an independent voter, voted Libertarian in 2016. I was called by Democrats, and asked to "swap a vote" in my swing state. Meaning, they voted Libertarian in a red state, if I would vote blue in FL. I said NO!

Part 2. We should have a system when you use your fingerprints to register to vote and then you scan your finger when it is time to vote. If your image comes up after your fingerprint scan you vote if it doesn’t see you in 4 years.

I don't know about voter suppression, but americas voting system is truely laughable. Voting machines can be rigged, and like everything in the US, money talks. Get rid of them and voting results will change to match the constituency.

Being in Georgia during this last election it was inspiring to see the movement that Stacy Abrams had started and the commitment she has to the people of Georgia even after the election. The blatant suppression can not stand
