From an article on this subject, "Drug offenders can also receive life sentences if they have a significant criminal history or if prosecutors can demonstrate that bodily injury or death resulted from the use of the drug." Does anyone really think drug dealing is non-violent?

Drug dealing is sometimes "Black Enterprise" Denied other opportunities. Nonviolent drug offenses should be treated like monetary crimes like Wells Fargo commits. No bankers go to jail.
