Report provided great background on 1953 US led coup. What shocked me was comment on how few Americans know this history and apparently believe Iran just inexplicably started hating us in 1979. Keep speaking out against regime change wars. Americans are sick & tired of them!

It’s quite shocking how many Americans don’t know about this and just assume they hate us for no reason. After that incident, we backed a dictator for 26 years and after their revolution armed Saddam and blocked the UNSC from doing anything abt his use of chem weapons. (1/2)

The US in 1988 shot down an airline carrying Iranians, killing 200+ civilians. Then a campaign of international sabotage and sanctions that have hurt the people rather than the regime. Actions have consequences. Really recommend reading the Leverett’s going to Tehran (2/2).

It's always about oil and money. And the media is always used as a weapon. As a result, innocent people suffer, and entire countries are destabilized and left much worse off than before. The US needs to end its interventionist policies.
