I know what it's like to face racial discrimination and hatred. I also know what it's like to face past mistakes and ask for forgiveness. We need to leave room for each other to evolve away from hatred and bigotry.

I, too, know what it's like to face racial discrimination and hatred--for what that's worth. I'm not interested in granting bigots ANY room for "evolution" or whatever you want to call it. One strike only for bigots, bc if you dig deep you'll find they've already had three.

Easy to say but what I learned is everyone has a spectrum of ignorance and bigotry or misogeny. Women against men, black against whites, light skin against dark skin . Where it ends with is you. Tolerance and education is only way. Otherwise everyone i know would be gone.

The majority of my tweets lately have been Anti-Coups R US, and against Neo/Con/Lib regime change in Venezuela. Tulsi's anti coup statements have been much stronger than Bernie's weak statement on the coup. I support Bernie, now I have second thoughts.
