Congress already had a bipartisan bill to fund government in December. Trump was about to sign it but then Ann Coulter calling him out on Fox made him reject it and hold federal workers hostage. Now, Mitch McConnell is blocking that same bill he supported.

Why blame trump for it? I don't get US politics sometimes, wall is needed for country's safety, why is their a debate on this. Politicians against it must be funded by drug cartel.

Why blame him? Because he himself owned the shutdown. Also, no one is backpacking the majority of drugs across the border. They come in through security.
