We ALL saw it, breathed it, experienced it. There were pretty lawless days in Iraq and Afghanistan after the invasions. KBR offered immediate solutions but no one stopped to ask if those solutions we're correct. If something got thrown out, it got burned in a pit. Anything.
thanks for your action on this. i'm lucky to not have suffered any effects yet (that i'm aware of) but I'm really happy to see my fellow veterans considered. sometimes the smoke was so thick we joked (grimly) that it was safer to smoke -- "at least it's through a filter"

You can attribute the 9/11 attacks to whatever you like. I don't give a damn. The pretense for a ground war was flimsy. They still sent us. As you point out, it may have been a sham but the lives lost were real enough. Those dying slower deaths for govt negligence are real too.

please send me any links you can find, typically Tulsi stays away from describing the damage she witnessed to the Iraqi people themselves, and only talks about it vaguely. 10x more energy at least spent on talking about the cost to US soldiers
Marine brother George Kirchem was killed by a funky cancer(esophageal). He talked about ingesting and how nasty when he was there. Been gone for about 13 years and we miss everyday.
