Purdue Pharma knew about the addictive nature of their drugs and instructed executives to try to push blame on those who had become addicted, instead of taking accountability for fueling the #opioidcrisis. We must hold them accountable for their crimes.https://bit.ly/2APWcLb

Can’t follow you here. Freedom must not have limits, what’s next holding @budweiserusa accountable for DUI’s? People have free will. I have used these pain meds for injuries and recovery from surgery multiple times over the years & never became addicted.

Sir; If Budweiser pushed the lie that drinking it did not impair your driving even though it had significant experience that it did, then yes, they should be blamed. This is not an issue of freedom, this is an issue of fraud to make money.

What a novel notion: Criminalizing executives (and making them see the inside of a cell) for inflicting harm on other people. Put it another way: treat them like anyone else! Can we do this? Of course we can. But we'll have to move beyond rhetoric and into action!

Might want to visit what's taking place around the country in terms of clinics rapidly detoxing patients off Benzodiazepines after having placed them on it for years - without a net - thanks to a CDC recommendation in Oct.

You may want to be careful when talking about the "opiod crisis". A lot of chronic pain patients benefit from these drugs and limiting them arbitrarily hurts the most vulnerable people. Should be up to pain management doctors. Don't demonize them

Please! Not phama rep convinced a doctor or provider that oxycodone wasn't "addictive". Dependence is a body's bcoming physically accustomed to a chemical. Addiction is psychological need to high along with physical need! STOP conflating the two!!
