The sell out of the Kurds and erratic, capricious decision making is the issue, not the idea of withdrawing

Exactly. None of us are against troops coming home, but the reasoning and a possible vaccum we might leave is a huge issue.

I am only upset with the manner of the announcement and the timeline for withdrawal at an abandon everything and everyone break neck pace. Leaving is fine. Let's just be sure there's not helicopters falling off carriers this time.
-
And before any of you say it, yes I said abandoning everyone to include the Kurds we are abandoning again instead of offering asylum or some assurance of protection.

@TulsiGabbard I'm going to have to disagree with you. You clearly overlooked the geopolitical aspect of our presence in Syria. -
The geopolitical aspects are the biggest reason we should get out. Deficit spending is a bigger threat to our way of life than Iran.

Oh, look at that: Assad's favorite Congressperson thinks the sudden withdrawal that leaves our Kurdish allies in the lurch is a GREAT idea.https://twitter.com/TulsiGabbard/status/1076146857649364992 …

Thousands of Kurds that spilled blood for our wars will be left to slaughter by the Turks. People in the region have incredibly long memories.

I think this is reason enough to be hysterical

Let's call them out . Democrats used to be the anti-war party but that is no longer true. We should call out any elected-leaders regardless of party.

Generally, you don't announce military plans over Twitter on a whim especially to the surprise of the Pentagon
-
Generally you don't ever announce the end of our many global wars at all - that's the problem - they just keep on going forever.

Disagree. They’re upset because they know we are going to recklessly pull out without any sort of planning. We should pull out, but we need a plan. There isn’t one, currently.

Tulsi Gabbard would make a great SOD! Thank you Tulsi, most courageous member of Congress ... look at all the war supporting Dems slamming her If there was any doubt that the Dem Party isn't the War Party, there is none anymore. Thanks Obama
