        Only 15% of the slaves destined for the New World from Africa landed in what is now the U.S. Most of those came through slave ports in what was then Massachusetts. Once the slaves sent to the Muslim nations is tallied, probably less then 3% of them in total landed in the U.S.

        The art is Kipura, from The Empire of Kongo. It's not Brazilian. The name "capoeira" was created in 1712 by Rafael Bluteau. The lie of Brazilian origin waa destroyed by science. The Kipura of the Lamtuna&Gudala ( cousins of Kongo,&miscalled Moors) conquered much of Europe&Asia
