There hasn't been a president since the Oil Crisis that would tell the House of Saud to go to hell. None of them want to face the repercussions of expensive oil or what happens to the USD if Saudis stop taking it for oil.

Therein lies the fundamental problem. We will never be truly sovereign until we eliminate fiat currency and wholly adopt alternative, renewable energy. Both are achievable goals if we stop the parasites among us from draining this country of tax revenue and wealth.
