I just wish he lived by those words and fought for the ideas and the fact that "we have always had so much more in common with each other than in disagreement". Condolences though

At least you acknowledge your differences as well and giving condolences is completely fine. We should really want you to be the leader of the progressive movement when it comes to foreign policy.

The man was one of the most bellicose members of Congress - there's nothing positive to say about him... At least you didn't call him "an unparalleled example of human decency." That was truly something else.

I don't think "we all make it through" when McCain's party acts like a subsidiary of Russia. Shame the man died, at 82, but he didn't do very much to advance the theme of his farewell message. "Let's agree that other side just submits to us" is not the American way!

This is a fair and better memorandum of Sn McCain than your earlier Tweet and I can support it.

He's a bloody tyrant without a throne, left death, destruction, and misery wherever he stepped. Honour that.

My condolencies to his family and those who knew him and loved him too, but seriously? Do you really honour this arch war monger and traitor? I really would have expected better of you. Really.
