Opioid medicines, despite their addictive capacity, are not illicit drugs nor are they unsound medicines, so we need to be responsible in how we treat drug manufacturers, not letting the pendulum swing hysterically in punishment of legitimate drug companies, harming those in pain

Great advice from Erin! Individual responsibility should be a major part of solutions for societal problems. Can’t always only blame others for our weakness & failures. Without individual responsibility we will never solve the problem. Decades of War against Drugs has not worked.

Congresswoman Gabbard, Of course I support "expand(ed) access to effective treatments for those suffering from the opioid epidemic," but I feel the proposed act is misguided. Opioid medications have from ancient times been part of a doctor's bag and they are potentially addictive

Maybe we should stop farming opium in Afghanistan. That would be a big help

Use ibogain? Please push for decriminlization and use in treatment of opioid addiction. We could save tens of thousands a year if this was legal...

Legalize cannabis and remove about 50% from the military budget. There... problem solved. :D
