Tulsi, as you take action to try to manage this crisis, please remember to prioritize finding solutions to manage pain! Most plans to reduce opioid addiction focus on reducing access to opioids and ignore the reason people are using them in the first place.

The opioid crisis lays waste to the validity of the war on drugs. The government is complicit in the creation of addicts as long as big pharma donors make money on the sale, and the for profit prison industry makes money on incarceration.

The executives who created the opioid crisis are the ones who should be in prison, not their victims.

I think Tulsi would agree: as she said "Perdue and those responsible should be prosecuted and held responsible for those deaths."https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DRE2S5oDVgA …

The US Government has lied about Cannabis for decades. Now we find that its useful in weaning people off Rx drugs. Make Cannabis the same schedule as tomatoes. Allow us to grow our own. Stop using it as a reason to jail people and take their property.

The “Opioid Crisis” is a convoluted mess that the FDA knows about. The alleged crisis should be directed at drug addicts that abuse RX medications. NOT actual pain patients. If all these reports on the “crisis” would delve deeper into FACTUAL statistics, they would see that.

Perdue pharmaceuticals promoted OxyContin as non-addictive. Opioids... non-addictive... riiiiiiiiiight. Tulsi is working to legalize cannabis, as this has shown to reduce the need for heavier pain medications in patients with pain. States that have legalized, have less OD'spic.twitter.com/T1pWOZg4gb

Capitalist mislead everyone about all of their products, even cars/shampoo etc. The problem isn't "big pharma", it's capitalism itself.
