It would be a huge mistake for NK to denuclearize. It's the only deterrent from western invasion they have. Plus we don't keep our promises.
Some from both political parties say denuclearization of NK is unrealistic or impossible - before talks have even begun. To them I quote Mandela: “It always seems impossible, until it is done.” We have to try & be willing to talk to those who are not friends in pursuit of peace.

Recognizing something as unrealistic or seemingly impossible is the first step to strategizing a complex solution. Underestimating the difficulty and propagandizing the ease of accomplishment does not serve the public interest.

So Un is going to denuclearize after we just broke our agreement with Iran and also knowing the fate Gaddafi suffered in doing that very thing. Is it realistic to expect this?
