As a New Mexican, thank you so much for promoting this!! Haaland will make a remarkable congresswomen. There's still a lot of racism against Natives in the southwest, so it would be inspiring to finally see a Native in a major leadership role in the US government.

Native Americans should have guaranteed seats in the congress. The setup of Indian Reservation system inherently discourages NA from "mingling" with the general population, thus difficulty for them to get elected.
