This was a very narrowly defined decision, by SCOTUS majority. The baker is an artist. He didn't refuse to sell them a regular cake - just not one that he personally designed b/c of his religious beliefs which is a protected right.
Today’s SCOTUS decision is nuanced and unclear. Heres what we know: Every American deserves equal protection under the law - regardless of race, religion, or sexual orientation. This is why Congress needs to pass the #EqualityAct.

It is worrisome that it appears you do not understand "equal protection under the law." All parties had the right to be heard all the way to SCOTUS. The Equal Protection Clause is part of the Fourteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution - we don't need another Act.

I prefer a world where comedians can make jokes & I can choose to watch their show. A world where as a business owner, I can choose whether to bake a cake, whether to print signs saying "there is no god" etc. Even if a bar owner can kick me out for a MAGA hat. It's called FREEDOM

Agreed all need to be treated fairly, we also need individual liberty and freedom from compulsion of our labor against our individual will........ be it religious or other reservations....... there are plenty of other bakers who would bake a glorious cake for these individuals

You couldn’t be more wrong in your tweet. What was protected was the bakers freedom to execute his religious beliefs and the failure of the Colorado law to protect his religious beliefs. For someone that served a defended these rights you should know better.
