“The situation is not over,” Dr. Marqués said. “We still have people without power, without running water, and it’s already hurricane season again.” The time for talk has long passed - we must act to help those who are still suffering from the devastation of Hurricane Maria.
We need to investigate the failures that occurred here, causing such massive loss of life in the days/weeks/months after the hurricanes hit. It is outrageous that there was not a house-to-house rescue/recovery effort, esp in rural communities, leaving many dead and undiscovered.

It's time to recognize that the failure to rebuild Puerto Ricos infrastructure isn't a unique failure if government, but rather the inevitable product of having government do that kind of work.
