Helping SA to get vaccinated more quickly and even w tweaked mRNA vax would seem ideal. But I don’t view traveling precautions as nationalism or hate. Bit of a leap in logic when mutations may more easily happen where there are more immunocompromised due to other viruses.pic.twitter.com/5RYshhAcB6

Agree, not scientists fault. I do think that given the implication of these announcements (massive job losses and livelihoods), communication thereof needs to be managed carefully. The reality is that AFRICA is being unfairly treated. Status quo cannot prevail.
